Kia ora, I’m Hayley, a qualified and fully certificated Early Childhood Teacher with extensive experience in ECE leadership, mentoring, and professional development.

Originally from Auckland, I moved to Christchurch in 2023 with my husband and our two young children and we love it here in the beautiful South Island.

My journey in Early Childhood Education began in 2011, and I quickly discovered my passion for leadership. After many years in Centre Manager roles, I’ve spent the past few years as an Education Consultant, supporting ECE services across Canterbury and facilitating SELO initiatives and professional development across both the North and South Islands.

I work alongside a range of privately owned, community-based, and home-based services — supporting centre owners, boards, and leadership teams to grow confident, capable, and connected in their roles.

Children are always at the heart of what I do. I’m passionate about making a positive difference in a sector that continues to face new challenges, and I believe that strong relationships and genuine connection are the foundation of every successful ECE service — this is where my strength lies.
